Getting your size right is THE most important thing to do before ordering one of our garments - because we want the best fit possible first time around! Our dresses are designed to be fitted in the bodice, and have plenty of room in the hips area, so we do not suggest sizing up.

We ask that when you check out for your dress you always check out for the correct size. Please do not check out on launch night and make a panicked purchase for a different size dress with a note asking us to change your size to the size you actually need. We are available on launch night to move sizes around quickly and efficiently where we can but before checking out you will need to check that we are able to move sizes around for you. We ask that you do not email to change sizes after check out, however if you do please note we are not responsible if we make up the size that you have originally ordered and not the size that you emailed to change. While we will do our best to make the change, we can not actually edit orders once the orders are placed. We often start cutting orders (rather than checking emails) the following day after an order is placed, to be as efficient as possible to ensure our turnaround times are accurate for our customers.

There are two ways we suggest you take measurements - firstly and most importantly you can measure a similar garment laying flat that you already own and know fits well. Secondly, you can measure yourself as per the instructions below. (We actually suggest you do both of these to get the best possible measurement) After doing these, you then compare your measurements to those in the product size guides below each garment listing.

The most important measurement is your BUST - our dresses have plenty of room in the skirt but should be FITTED in the bust area, so its very very important you measure this please.

For your convenience, we have provided tutorial videos below showing you how to measure both of these ways, PLEASE watch them so you know how to measure correctly!

 

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF:

Bust: Measured around your arm pit to arm pit.
To measure: Place measuring tape around the LARGEST part of bust. Then half the measurement you get to obtain bust measurement.

Length: Measured from top shoulder seam.
To measure: Place measuring tape at top of shoulder seam and measure down to hem. (for length measurement its best to measure the garment paying flat on ground rather than it on)

Waist: Measured around the smallest part of waistline. 
To measure: Place measuring tape around the smallest part of your waist (generally midway between your bust and belly button)

PLEASE NOTE - if you do not have a soft tape measure at home, you can download this one here, print it out, sticky tape it together and voila, you have yourself a soft tape measure!!
